Odisha’s ₹33,000 Crore Leap: Adani’s Triple-Threat Expansion

Diversified conglomerate Adani Group has announced an investment of ₹33,081 crore to develop three major projects in Odisha, spanning power, cement, and digital infrastructure.

The planned developments include a thermal power plant and a cement manufacturing unit near Cuttack, along with a data centre at Info Valley in Bhubaneswar.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony in Bhubaneswar, Karan Adani highlighted the group’s longstanding presence in Odisha across ports, mining, and industrial infrastructure, noting that the latest investments mark an expansion into new sectors.

He stated that while the group has been active in Odisha for years, these projects represent a broader commitment—not just to capacity building, but to supporting the state’s evolving economic and industrial landscape.
